Most of our patients come to our office for improved health and wellbeing, not only to treat a back or neck pain. Wellness is a very popular idea these days, but few people understand what wellness can mean to them.

New patients can expect to spend approximately one and half hour in our office at first visit. We will ask you for a comprehensive health history followed by a complete chiropractic examination with special interest on detection of underlying dysfunction on the nervous system. We use high-tech, noninvasive modalities such as thermography to assess nerve function. X-rays may also be taken if indicated.
On second visit, we will review our findings and recommend a treatment plan. We rarely treat an individual on the same day as the exam.
To offset the rising cost of today’s dwindling healthcare coverage, ACE CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC offers several payment options.
We work with our patients developing specific, customized programs to match their individual health care needs. Our services include Palmer chiropractic, Japanese style acupuncture and related physiothrapy.
We offer a number of chiropractic adjusting techniques and/or acupuncture techniques which are decided upon by the Doctor’s experience and patients preferences.

Dr. Masahiko Matsushita, DC, LCP, DPhCS
Dr. Matsushita is a 1988 graduate of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Course of Meiji School of Oriental Medicine, Osaka Japan, with Academic Excellence Award.
He passed National Board and received "Licensed Acupuncturist" and "Licensed Moxacauterist."
He is also a 1990 graduate of Judo Therapy Course of Meiji School of Oriental Medicine, Osaka Japan.
He passed National Board and received "Licensed Judo Therapist."

He opened his own practice, Matsushita Acupuncture & Judo Therapy Clinic, in Hirakata City, Osaka Japan in Oct. 1990.
Dr. Matsushita served as a Director, Member of the Scholarship Committee of Keihan Region Association of the Osaka Prefecture Judo Therapist Association. He achieved Post Graduate Education Credit of the Year Award in Osaka Prefecture Judo Therapist Association three times in 1991, 1993 and 1994.
He is well known for his care of difficult cases as well as promoting wellness care for people that realize that true health is more than the absence of symptoms. After running a successful practice in Hirakata City, Osaka for over 5 years, he closed his clinic for study abroard to the USA. In April 1996, he came to the US for receiving the world best chiropractic education.
Dr. Matsushita is 2003 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic with Best Toggle Recoil Technique Award and Clinical Teaching Assistant Award. He passed National Board and received "Licensed Chiropractic Physician" from Illinois State.
He received the Legion of Chiropractic Philosophers (L.C.P.) Designation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in August 2004. He is the first and only Asian/Japanese who achieved this prestigious L.C.P. Designation.
He received his Diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards (DPhCS) title from International Chiropractors Association, Council on Chiropractic Philosophy in October 2009. He is the first Asian/Japanese who achieved this prestigious DPhCS title.
Dr. Matsushita served as an Alumni Advisor of the Palmer College of Chiropractic from 2008 to 2014.
Dr. Matsushita has published MASA'S STUDY GUIDE FOR SPINAL ANATOMY II LABORATORY at Palmer College since year of 2000, and he has donated all benefits of this book to Veteran's Association of Palmer College since 2002 as a token of the friendship between the USA and Japan.

I was a business woman who working in Tokyo after I graduated from university and achieved BA degree. One day I become a victim of auto accident and seriously injured. This incident was a turning point in my life, and my quest for best treatment start there. I went hospitals and clinics to see MD for medical treatment and physical therapy, but they didn’t work. I have tried various manual therapies and Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) in Japan, Reflexology in Taiwan and Rehabilitation Massage in hot spring in Germany. Finally I find Palmer Graduate Chiropractor in Japan and he help me a lot. This experience brought me here, USA, to study Chiropractic. I know “how hard to live with pain” therefore I want to help others.
